Apex

Apex

Goal: progress through successive levels of precision and finish each approach with successful Double practice.

The game consists of 12 rounds of 3 darts and covers four main sectors:

20 → 19 → 18 → 17

Each sector forms a separate Apex consisting of 3 stages.

Stage 1 – Zone:

You have 3 darts at the indicated sector. Any Single, Double or Treble of that number counts as a successful hit.

  • Single = 1 point,
  • Double = 2 points,
  • Treble = 3 points.

Stage 2 – Treble:

You have 3 attempts to hit the exact required Treble, such as T20, T19, T18 or T17. Hitting a Single or Double of the same number does not count as the target.

Stage 3 – Double:

You have 3 attempts to hit the exact required Double. This is the final and most precise stage of each Apex.

The complete game structure is:

  • 20 → T20 → D20,
  • 19 → T19 → D19,
  • 18 → T18 → D18,
  • 17 → T17 → D17.

Each of the three stages takes one full round, meaning 3 darts. First you build control of the entire sector, then narrow the target down to the Treble, and finally to the Double.

Apex tests progressive precision. Instead of immediately aiming at a small target, you move from the entire sector to the Treble and finish on the Double.

The game ends after all 12 rounds have been played.
