Goal: test your control of the entire dartboard by constantly moving your point of aim between distant sectors and switching between full-sector targets and precise Singles.
The game consists of 20 rounds of 3 darts, for a total of 60 darts. The targets are arranged to avoid a natural sequence and force you to constantly change your aiming direction.
The targets are:
20 → S3 → 11 → S6 → 18 → S2 → 15 → S8 → 19 → S7 → 16 → S4 → 13 → S9 → 17 → S5 → 12 → S1 → 14 → Bull
The game uses two types of rounds.
In full-sector rounds, any valid scoring area of the indicated number can score:
This applies to sectors 20, 11, 18, 15, 19, 16, 13, 17, 12 and 14.
In Single rounds, all 3 darts must hit the exact indicated Single. The targets are:
S3 → S6 → S2 → S8 → S7 → S4 → S9 → S5 → S1
Each correct Single is worth 1 point. Hitting the Double or Treble of the same number does not count as a correct hit.
The final round is played on the Bull. Single Bull is worth 1 point and Double Bull 2 points.
Board Control contains no additional bonuses, penalties or Lives system. Each correct dart is scored independently.
Alternating between full sectors and exact Single targets forces you to constantly adjust your aiming approach. The irregular sequence of numbers also requires you to quickly locate new areas of the dartboard.
Board Control primarily trains board awareness, quick movement of your point of aim, control across different areas and precise switching between larger and smaller targets.
The game ends after all 20 rounds have been played. The maximum score is 123 points.
