Game objective: practise quick and precise transitions between the key scoring Trebles: T20, T19, T18 and T17.
Cover Shot Recovery simulates situations where, during scoring, you need to move from the main target to a cover shot and immediately find your accuracy on another Treble.
The game consists of 12 rounds. In each round, you have 3 darts, and each dart has an exact target. The training starts with simple transitions from T20 to one of the cover shots:
The following rounds introduce increasingly varied transitions between Trebles, including:
Scoring: each correct hit scores its actual dartboard value. T20 scores 60 points, T19 – 57, T18 – 54, and T17 – 51 points.
Each dart has a specific Treble target. Hitting the correct number in the Single or Double does not complete the target and scores no points.
Cover Shot Recovery trains changing targets without losing rhythm, cover shot control and the ability to quickly recover high scoring after moving away from T20. Instead of repeating three identical throws, you must regularly shift your aim between the key scoring areas.
The game ends after all 12 rounds have been completed. The more effectively you switch between Trebles and maintain high accuracy after changing targets, the higher your final score will be.
