Havoc

Havoc

Goal: maintain control despite constantly changing task types and quickly adapt your aim to each new round.

The game consists of 12 rounds of 3 darts. Each round may require a completely different type of hit: a specific sector, any Double, any Treble, the Bull, or an exact sequence.

Scoring:

  • Single = 1 point,
  • Double = 2 points,
  • Treble = 3 points,
  • Single Bull = 1 point,
  • Double Bull = 2 points.

The rounds are as follows:

  • 3 darts at sector 20,
  • 3 darts at any Double,
  • 3 darts at sector 3,
  • 3 darts at any Treble,
  • 3 darts at the Bull,
  • 3 darts at sector 17,
  • sequence 20 → 1 → 18,
  • 3 darts at any Double,
  • 3 darts at sector 7,
  • sequence 19 → 3 → 20,
  • 3 darts at any Treble,
  • 3 darts at the Bull.

In sector rounds, you can hit a Single, Double or Treble of the indicated number. In rounds with a specific sequence, each dart must hit the indicated sector in the correct order.

Failed round: if none of the 3 darts hits the correct target, you lose 10 points.

Your score cannot fall below 0 points.

Havoc primarily tests rapid target switching and the ability to adapt to changing rhythms. You cannot settle into one sector or one type of throw, as almost every round requires something different.

The game ends after all 12 rounds have been played.
