Goal: master one of the most unforgiving finishes in darts – Double 1, famously known as Madhouse.
The game consists of 10 rounds of 3 darts. Each round takes a different route, but they all end in exactly the same place – on D1.
Scoring:
In each round, the first dart is aimed at one of the sectors from 1 to 10, the second at sector 1, and the third must always hit Double 1.
The sequences are:
The first two darts require hitting the indicated sector. You can hit its Single, Double or Treble, scoring 1, 2 or 3 points respectively.
The third dart requires hitting exactly D1. A Single 1 or Treble 1 does not count as a successful hit.
If you hit all 3 required targets in a round, you receive an additional +5 point bonus. A perfect round can therefore score a maximum of 13 points.
Madhouse forces you to repeatedly move from different areas of the board to sector 1, and then immediately narrow your target down to Double 1. This means D1 is not practiced as an isolated throw, but as the final part of a changing sequence.
The game ends after all 10 rounds have been played. No matter where a sequence begins, its finish is always the same: all roads lead to Madhouse.
