Crown Hunter

Crown Hunter

Goal: collect all 7 crown pieces by combining consistent scoring on sector 20 with precise finishing on the required Doubles.

The game consists of 7 rounds. In each round you have 3 darts: the first two target sector 20, while the third must hit a specific Double.

Each round follows the pattern:

20 → 20 → required Double

The first two darts can hit any multiplier of sector 20:

  • Single 20 = 1 point,
  • Double 20 = 2 points,
  • Treble 20 = 3 points.

The third dart must hit the exact required Double. Hitting the same number as a Single or Treble does not count as completing the target.

You collect the next crown pieces by hitting the following Doubles:

D9 → D12 → D5 → D20 → D1 → D18 → D4

The complete round sequences are:

  • 20 → 20 → D9
  • 20 → 20 → D12
  • 20 → 20 → D5
  • 20 → 20 → D20
  • 20 → 20 → D1
  • 20 → 20 → D18
  • 20 → 20 → D4

To collect one Crown piece, you must successfully complete all three tasks in the round: hit sector 20 with the first two darts and the required Double with the third.

Every successfully completed 3/3 sequence awards an additional +25 points and gives you one crown piece.

If you do not complete the full 3/3 sequence, you still keep the points earned from successful hits, but you receive no bonus and do not collect the crown piece.

The maximum score for a single round is 33 points: 8 points from the three hits plus the 25-point Crown bonus.

Collecting all 7 pieces completes the Full Crown. The Full Crown does not award any additional bonus beyond the bonuses already earned for each individual crown piece.

Crown Hunter combines consistency on sector 20 with the pressure of a final Double. The first two throws allow you to build your score, but only successfully completing the full three-dart sequence awards the bonus and lets you collect the next crown piece.

The game ends after all 7 rounds have been played. The maximum score is 231 points and requires collecting all seven crown pieces.
