Goal: practice unusual checkouts using two consecutive Double hits.
The game focuses on four scores: 100, 95, 90, and 80. Each one is completed with three precisely defined darts – first you hit a Single, then the same Double twice.
After completing all four combinations, you play the entire series again. This allows you to test whether you can repeat a successful execution of the same pattern.
Scoring: a successful Single hit gives 1 point, while each Double gives 2 points. A complete S → D → D sequence is therefore worth a maximum of 5 points.
Each dart has a precisely defined target. Hitting the correct number with the wrong multiplier or hitting a different field gives no points for that dart.
Double Double Experiment trains confidence on Doubles, throw consistency, and the ability to hit the same Double again without changing the target. It is an alternative finishing exercise in which you deliberately use two consecutive Doubles instead of the classic route through a Treble.
The game ends after completing two full series of four checkouts. The maximum score requires hitting all 24 specified targets.
