Golden Dart

Golden Dart

Goal: make the most of the special third dart in each round to earn additional points.

The game consists of 12 rounds of 3 darts. In each round, all darts are thrown at the currently indicated sector.

Basic scoring:

  • Single = 1 point,
  • Double = 2 points,
  • Treble = 3 points,
  • Single Bull = 1 point,
  • Double Bull = 2 points.

The targets are:

20 → 19 → 18 → 17 → 16 → 15 → 14 → 13 → 12 → 11 → 10 → Bull

The first and second darts score normally. The third dart is the Golden Dart – the points scored with it are multiplied by x2.

Golden Dart scoring examples:

  • Single = 1 × 2 = 2 points,
  • Double = 2 × 2 = 4 points,
  • Treble = 3 × 2 = 6 points.

Golden Dart applies only to the third throw of the round. If the third dart misses the required target, you receive no points or additional value for it.

The game requires you to maintain concentration until the final dart. Two good opening throws build your score, but the Golden Dart is the most valuable and can determine the result of the entire round.

The final round is played on the Bull, where the third dart also receives the x2 multiplier.

The game ends after all 12 rounds have been played.
