Mini Matchplay Leg

Mini Matchplay Leg

Goal: practice the full range of situations that occur during a real match leg – from scoring, through cover shots and setups, to Doubles, Bull and final finishes.

The game consists of 15 rounds of 3 darts. Each round has a different character, meaning Mini Matchplay Leg does not focus on a single element but simulates the changing tasks typical of match play.

Points are scored using the actual board values. For example, S20 = 20 points, D20 = 40 points, T20 = 60 points, Single Bull = 25 points, and Double Bull = 50 points.

The beginning of the game focuses on classic scoring:

  • 3 darts at sector 20,
  • 3 darts at sector 19,
  • 3 darts at sector 18.

Next, you face tasks based on specific scores and target changes, including:

  • achieving one of the scores 60, 100, 140 or 180,
  • the sequence T20 → T19 → T18,
  • achieving one of the scores 81, 85, 95 or 100.

The next part of the game moves into setup and finishing practice:

  • T20 → S20 → D20,
  • T19 → S12 → D16,
  • T18 → S18 → D20.

Next, your accuracy on Doubles is tested:

  • D20 → D20 → D20,
  • D16 → D16 → D16,
  • 3 darts at any Double.

The final part moves to the center of the board and high finishes:

  • 3 darts at the Bull,
  • Single Bull → Double Bull → Bull,
  • final sequence T20 → T20 → D20.

In rounds with an exact sequence, each dart must hit the correct target. Hitting the correct number with the wrong multiplier does not count as the required field.

Mini Matchplay Leg has no additional bonuses, penalties or systems such as Combo or Lives. Only the quality of your hits and the actual point value scored matter.

The game ends after all 15 rounds have been played. It is a comprehensive test of form that checks scoring, target switching, setups, Doubles, Bull and precise finishing sequences in a single training session.
