Goal: test your accuracy under pressure by constantly switching between full sectors, Doubles, Trebles and the Bull while avoiding costly empty rounds.
The game consists of 15 rounds of 3 darts, for a total of 45 darts.
Each round may require a different type of precision. One moment you are aiming at an entire sector, and the next you must hit an exact Double or Treble.
The tasks are:
In sector rounds, a Single, Double or Treble of the indicated number scores points:
In rounds requiring a specific Double or Treble, only the exact indicated target counts. For example, when targeting D16, hitting S16 or T16 does not count as a correct hit.
In Bull rounds, Single Bull scores 1 point, while Double Bull scores 2 points.
Pressure Penalty: if you fail to make a single correct hit in a round, you receive a penalty equal to the base score from the previous round.
For example, if you scored 7 points in the previous round and then miss all 3 darts in the next round, that round receives a −7 point penalty. If you make at least one correct hit, no penalty is applied.
Only the base score from the previous round is stored for calculating a possible penalty. A penalty already applied does not change the value used for the following round.
Pressure Test measures not only accuracy and fast switching between different types of targets, but also your ability to stay effective under pressure. Even one correct hit can prevent you from losing points.
The game ends after all 15 rounds have been played. The maximum score is 114 points.
