Priority Doubles Map

Priority Doubles Map

Game objective: build consistency on the most important match-play Doubles and practise natural pathways between finishing targets.

The game consists of 19 rounds. In each round, you have 3 darts at one exact Double target. Each correct hit scores 2 points.

The first part of the training follows practical Double pathways that commonly appear when setting up and finishing a leg:

  • D20 → D10 → D5
  • D16 → D8 → D4 → D2 → D1
  • D12 → D6 → D3

Each of these Doubles is played as a separate round, giving you 3 attempts to hit the currently specified target.

The second part of the training focuses on the most important Doubles used in match play:

  • D20
  • D18
  • D16
  • D15
  • D12
  • D10
  • D8
  • Double Bull

Scoring: each hit on the exact specified Double scores 2 points. Hitting a Single, Treble, different Double or missing completely scores no points. Double Bull also scores 2 points.

Priority Doubles Map trains consistency on key finishing targets, orientation on the Double ring and movement through common finishing pathways. Particular emphasis is placed on the D20, D16 and D12 families and their successive splits.

The game ends with the Double Bull round. The maximum score requires hitting all 57 darts on the exact specified targets.
