Segment Switch Geography

Segment Switch Geography

Game objective: practise orientation across the entire dartboard and quickly switch between distant sectors, different multipliers and the Bull.

Segment Switch Geography is designed to make you constantly move your target between different areas of the dartboard. Instead of repeating one comfortable throw, you regularly change both the sector and the target position.

The first part of the training combines full-sector rounds with rounds requiring an exact Single. Targets include sequences such as:

  • 20 → S3 → 19
  • 17 → S2 → 15
  • 10 → S6 → 13

In sector rounds, you can score by hitting the Single, Double or Treble of the currently specified number. In exact Single rounds, only the specified target counts.

The next part focuses on quick changes between Doubles positioned in different areas of the dartboard:

  • D20 → D3 → D19
  • D17 → D2 → D15
  • D10 → D6 → D13

Next come Treble sequences T20 → T19 → T18 and T17 → T16 → T15, followed by a Bull round.

The final part combines different multipliers within a single sequence:

  • S20 → T19 → D18
  • S17 → T16 → D15
  • Single Bull → Double Bull → Bull

Scoring: Single scores 1 point, Double – 2 points, Treble – 3 points, Single Bull – 1 point, and Double Bull – 2 points.

In rounds with an exact sequence, each dart must hit the correct target. Hitting the correct number with the wrong multiplier does not complete the target.

Segment Switch Geography trains dartboard orientation, quickly finding new targets, changing the height and side of the throw, and smoothly transitioning between Single, Double, Treble and Bull.

The game ends after all 18 rounds have been played. The best score requires not only accuracy, but also the ability to efficiently switch to the next target, often located far away on the dartboard.
