Two to Survive

Two to Survive

Goal: consistently hit at least 2 out of 3 darts and survive all rounds without losing all your lives.

The game consists of up to 12 rounds of 3 darts. You start with 3 Lives.

In each round, you have 3 darts at the currently indicated sector.

Hit scoring:

  • Single = 1 point,
  • Double = 2 points,
  • Treble = 3 points.

The targets are:

20 → 19 → 18 → 17 → 16 → 15 → 14 → 13 → 12 → 11 → 10 → 20

The most important element of the game is the Lives system. To safely complete a round, you must hit the required sector at least 2 out of 3 darts.

  • 0 hits = -1 Life,
  • 1 hit = -1 Life,
  • 2 hits = no change,
  • 3 hits = +1 Life, up to a maximum of 3.

If you already have 3 Lives, hitting all 3 darts does not increase your Lives beyond the maximum.

A single hit still earns points, but it is not enough to survive the round without losing a Life. Only a minimum success rate of 2/3 allows you to keep your current number of Lives.

A perfect 3/3 round is additionally rewarded with the opportunity to recover a previously lost Life.

Two to Survive primarily tests consistency and repeatability. It is not enough to occasionally hit a high-scoring Treble – in every round, you must deliver at least two successful darts.

If your number of Lives drops to 0, the game immediately ends – Game Over. If you survive all 12 rounds, you complete the game.
